ABOUT THE SEMINAR
EDUCATIONAL APPROACH
The Breazeal Gymnastics Seminar is an in-depth, educational course focused on the gymnastics movements commonly found within functional fitness.
Athletes will begin their journey by first understanding the fundamental pillars of the sport — including mindset, strength, range of motion, body positions, coordination and spatial awareness — Why each is important, and the roles they play within general movement.
Athletes will then apply their knowledge to functional gymnastics skills.
All skills will be dissected into the most basic concepts, highlighting each minute detail necessary for the athlete to physically perform the movement.
In each skill discussion, we cover: The movement pattern, prerequisite physical abilities, timing, recommended and additional techniques, accessory strength exercises, skill progressions and drills.
Once the athlete has a full understanding of the skill (WHAT - WHY - HOW), we apply the information through practice.
WHO IS IT FOR?
All ability levels. Here's why.
This is an intellectually-heavy course, where your brain will arguably be more fatigued than your body.
Beginner athletes will jump start their fitness journey strong by learning how to correctly move, helping to avoid detrimentally bad habits. Even if they are not able to practice a drill, they still gain an understanding of how to do it properly, setting them up for faster success.
Advanced athletes will be able to target, understand, and address weaknesses in physical ability and/or technique, helping to make both immediate improvement, and practical plans for greater long-term success.

Gym owners will choose to host either a one or two day seminar for their community.

Length: 4 hours
